About America First Flagpoles

I got into this business by complete accident. Back in 2002, I was looking for a new job when a friend mentioned his neighbor needed someone willing to do manual labor installing flagpoles. I figured, why not? It beat sitting behind a desk. So I showed up, dug my first hole, and set my first pole. Turns out, I loved the work.

What started as one-off installation jobs grew into something much bigger. Over the years, I've personally completed hundreds — if not thousands — of residential and commercial flagpole installations across Ohio and beyond. I've worked on everything from backyard home setups to towering commercial poles for businesses, schools, and government buildings.

Along the way, I've serviced and maintained every kind of flagpole system you can think of: external halyard, internal winch, and internal cam cleat. I've gone up in a bucket truck, replaced ropes, repaired trucks, and helped customers figure out why their flag just won't fly right. There isn't much I haven't seen when it comes to flagpoles.

At America First Flagpoles, the name isn't about politics. For me, it's about putting Americans first — supporting domestic products, American workers, and businesses that help strengthen our economy. It's about doing honest work, treating customers like neighbors, and taking real pride in what we do.

Most importantly, it's about respect for the flag and what it represents. Flying the American flag brings people together. My goal is simple: help homes and businesses display the Stars and Stripes proudly and properly. If you're in Central Ohio, I might even be the guy showing up to install it.
