    20 ft TelescopingFlagpole

The easiest tall flagpole a homeowner can install. No ropes, no tangles, no contractor — just a PVC sleeve set in concrete and a pole that slides in.

    DIY Install Guide

Install a 20 ft Telescoping Flagpole in an Afternoon

Four steps, one bag of concrete mix, one weekend afternoon. No welding, no crane, no second person required.

    1. 1

      Dig the sleeve hole

Auger or hand-dig a hole roughly 24 inches deep and 10–12 inches wide at the mounting location. Confirm you're past frost line for your zone (most of the Midwest is fine at 24"; check your local code).

    2. 2

Set the PVC ground sleeve in concrete

Drop in the included PVC ground sleeve, plumb it in both directions, and pour concrete around the sleeve — not into it. Concrete volume depends on the hole you dug; a bagged mix works fine. Let it cure 24 hours before loading.

    3. 3

Slide the pole into the sleeve

The collapsed pole slides straight into the cured sleeve — no bolts, no anchors. The sleeve does the structural work; the pole floats inside it so you can lift it out for storms or storage.

    4. 4

      Extend, lock, and fly

Extend each section, twist the lock collar (hand-tight only — no wrenches), attach the flag to the two swivel rings, and raise. First-time install runs about 30 minutes once the concrete has cured.

Total hands-on time: about 30 minutes on install day, plus 24 hours of concrete cure between step 2 and step 3.
