Wind-rated to 114 MPH without flag, this is the right size and strength for most single-story and ranch-style homes. Complete kit ships with a 4" gold or silver ball, stationary truck and pulley, nylon halyard, quiet vinyl-covered bronze snaps, 9" cast cleat, and PVC ground sleeve — just add concrete and a flag. Choose from Satin, Clear Anodized, Bronze Anodized, or Black Anodized finishes.
The 20 ft 3-inch: Right-Sized for Single-Story Homes
For ranches, Cape Cods, and single-story Colonials with a roofline under 18 ft, this is the correct pole. The 20 ft height lifts the flag above the house from the curb without dwarfing the architecture. A 25-footer on a single-story home actually looks awkward — the flag floats too high.
Step up to the 20 ft 4-inch (about $200 more) if your lot has open, unobstructed exposure. Otherwise, install is a weekend job for two people: an 18" × 29" footing, several bags of high-strength concrete, cure overnight, drop the pole the next morning. Best paired with a 3×5 ft or 4×6 ft flag.

It Arrives Ready to Install
In-stock flagpoles ship to 48 states. You receive the pole, ground sleeve, hardware, and instructions.
Set the Ground Sleeve
Dig a 18" diameter hole 29" deep, set the included PVC ground sleeve, and pour concrete. Let it cure for 24–48 hours.
Raise Your Flag
Slide the pole directly into the PVC sleeve and seal with 100% Silicone Caulk. Attach your flag with the included rope and snaps, and raise it.
