One-piece 25 ft residential flagpole with a 4" butt tapering to 2" at the top, made in the USA from 6063-T6 aluminum. Wind-rated to 110 MPH without flag — a great choice for two-story homes that want a more substantial, commercial-grade presence than a standard 3" pole. Complete kit ships with a gold or silver ball, stationary truck and pulley, 5/16" nylon halyard, vinyl-covered swivel snaps, 9" cleat, and PVC ground sleeve. Available in Satin, Clear Anodized, Bronze Anodized, and Black Anodized finishes.
The "Buy Once" Pole for Two-Story Homes
A 20-footer on a two-story house lands the flag at gutter height and looks small from the curb. A 25 ft 3-inch on an exposed lot flexes in every gust. The 25 ft 4-inch splits the difference — tall enough to clear any standard two-story roofline and stiff enough that wind stops being a concern.
The anodized finish never needs paint or polish, so it's typically the pole that gets passed down with the house. Plan on two people, a weekend, and several bags of high-strength concrete for the 24" × 29" footing. Pair it with a 5×8 ft flag for textbook proportions, or 4×6 ft if your HOA caps flag size.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is 25 ft too tall for a single-story ranch?
It can look out of proportion. For single-story homes under 18 ft of roofline, the 20 ft 3-inch is usually the better fit. Choose 25 ft if you have a two-story home, a steep-pitched roof, or a deep front yard.
Does it need a permit?
In most municipalities, no — residential flagpoles under 30 ft typically don't require a building permit. Your HOA may require setback and color review.
How Tall Is 25 ft?

This Pole's Specs
Manufacturer-tested wind rating and recommended flag size for this exact model. Sizing your flag correctly keeps the pole within its rated wind speed. See the full sizing guide →
Wind rating reflects manufacturer-tested performance for the flagpole without a flag installed. Flying a flag — especially one larger than recommended — reduces the effective wind rating.
How Installation Works
Our in-ground flagpoles are a one-time install. Most homeowners can DIY in a weekend; we also offer professional installation in Central Ohio.
It Arrives Ready to Install
In-stock flagpoles ship to 48 states. You receive the pole, ground sleeve, hardware, and instructions.
Set the Ground Sleeve
Dig a 18" diameter hole 29" deep, set the included PVC ground sleeve, and pour concrete. Let it cure for 24–48 hours.
Raise Your Flag
Slide the pole directly into the PVC sleeve and seal with 100% Silicone Caulk. Attach your flag with the included rope and snaps, and raise it.
Local Installation Available in Central Ohio
