• .058 inches — Economy grade. Fine for sheltered locations with light winds. 5-10 year lifespan.

• .156 inches — Heavy-duty residential. Excellent for open properties and coastal areas.
• .188 inches — Commercial grade. Rated for 90-120 mph winds. Used by businesses and municipalities.
• .250 inches — Heavy commercial. Built for extreme conditions and 40+ foot poles.

How to Choose

Consider three factors:

1. Location — coastal, hilltop, or open field? Go thicker.
2. Pole height — taller poles need thicker walls to prevent flex
3. Flag size — larger flags create more wind load
